Eddie served with China Grove from May 1979-Feb 1986 before transferring to Rowan County. During his time with Rowan County, he worked in Criminal Investigation, Narcotics, and Patrol Supervision. He was later promoted to supervisor of the Criminal Division, Crime Scene, & Special Operations Unit. Eddie retired in 2009 and accepted a position as Chief of Police at China Grove Police Department. He holds over twenty years of experience in investigations and crime scene reconstruction with an additional ten years in supervision.
